Leon Perry - Running Back (Mississippi)

Leon Perry began his pro career by signing as a free agent with the New York Giants in 1980. In 3 seasons with the Giants, Perry totalled 134 carries for 543 yards and a score in addition to 22 catches for 223 yards and another 2 majors. Perry went to training camp with the San Francisco 49ers in 1983. He signed with the Birmingham Stallions of the USFL in September 1983. Perry's best season was in 1984 for the Stallions where he carried the ball 189 times for 774 yards and 13 touchdowns. Perry's role in 1985 was reduced to primarily a fullback for Joe Cribbs and was dealt to the Orlando Renegades on May 1, 1985 in exchange for guard Don Corbin. Perry wore this Russell Athletic size 48 mesh jersey for home games at Legion Stadium at some point during his tenure with the Stallions. All identifiers are screened onto the jersey. It features a hockey stick shaped repair on the 3 of the left sleeve.

Overall, Mason appeared in 47 regular season games for the Raiders from 1978-81 before moving on to the San Francisco 49ers in 1982 where he played in 9 games. It features spandex side panels with all identifiers screen printed on. The jersey has sleeves that have been customized and shortened in length. A major repair made by the equipment staff now permanently resides on the right sleeve and there are two other small repairs elsewhere on the jersey.
